Great room and bathroom and fantastic breakfast but I did only pay £5 due to a website error - would happily pay £50 another time

Room backed on to rear of domestic areas and wheelie bins trundled out around midnight which was not conducive to good sleep. Doors could perhaps close slower so not so noisy when your room is next door to people who don't hold onto the doors as they close

Location good; leisure facilities good; room size adequate.

We had to request top up of tea/coffee making supplies. Porridge took 15 minutes to arrive at breakfast. Old style TV.

Size of room, comfortable mattress, leisure facilities, reception.

Poor TV reception, no instructions re heated towel rail. Shower enclosure entrance very narrow.

Overall: Very good, apart from above.Worried initially by poor reviews, but found hotel and surroundings excellent.  (107582711)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
