Design of rooms, fixtures & fittings

Unclear when booking - had not realised rate did not include breakfast

Overall: This hotel professed to have a child friendly attitude. However they were unable to provide baby listening / babysitting service (as advertised on their own website)- in fact they were going to search through the yellow pages for a babysitter which I find wholly inappropriate - did not provide appropriate bedlinen for a small baby (duvet provided with cot - duvets are unsuitable for babies under 1 year) and they did not always service the room early enough for us to return to it to put the baby down for a sleep. On one occasion we had to send them away when they arrived to service the room at 3.30pm. While there was nothing actually wrong with the hotel and everything was clean, tidy & pleasant, it was no better than staying in a Travel lodge - and definitely not worth the money.  (1577588)
