Everyone is exceptionally friendly - but that is Iceland for you! Very professionally accommodating.

Minor improvements need to be done. Drain was not quick enough and so flooded a bit when I had a shower. Windowsill had peeling paint. The shower head hose was broken and gave an overall feel of shabby from what otherwise was a nice room

Overall: It was fit for my purpose! I do not feel that I have anything to complain about (to my friends). I would simply say that the staff were most exceptionally helpful in going that extra mile. Thank you  (108626292)

The breakfast was nice, and the staff was efficient and friendly. The hotel location, on a slight hill, really isn't a problem--all of the Old City is within a 5 minute walk.

The wireless internet didn't quite perform as suggested. Not available at all in the first room. Was fine in the second room.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
