Overall: No complaints. Not the most swish hotel Ive stayed in but in terms of balance of what we paid the accomodation was fine. Room was basic but clean. Food was ok and fair value for money.  (108867916)

affordable. The shower was pretty big compared to some of the others that we experienced around France.

No air conditioning in the rooms. We had to open the window and listen to noisy traffic all night long. There was also a construction site nearby that started early in the morning. The location of the hotel is further away from the city center than advertised. We tried to get there by train, tram and then bus. It was a long and hard effort to get there in the end, and we still had to walk a long way with all of our luggage. There are no good restaurants in the area of the hotel, so if you're not up to going into the city center, you're limited to the hotel restaurant. The restaurant food wasn't exceptionally good and they seemed to run out of staples like cream. The bathroom is kind of like an airplane bathroom, with the sink and the toilet really cramped together.

Overall: It was affordable enough that I could handle the downfalls. I am not sure that I would stay there again, especially not for a long stay.  (107441617)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
