Clean spacious room and friendly staff

Car parking is completely inadequate for a motel of this size and many cars are forced into the lorry park with consequent risk of damage. There appears to be adjacent space to incorporate many more cars securely and these alterations should be undertaken.

We loved the flapjacks and the wonderful gas station nearby--we never experienced such fun at a service station!

The king-sized bed was a mere full.

Overall: The roundabout was an interesting site to maneuver on foot. We loved the feathery friends!  (97706085)

Bearing in mind was in Services, setting was lovely and alot of care taken over surroundings

Nothing really....sink was cracked...and the bath was too shallow, apart from that we enjoyed our stsy and would stay there again

Overall: I think we said all there is to say the aviary was a really nice touch as was the waterfall. The immediate surroundings of the hotel were really nice and pleasant walk through. The noise level was surprisingly low, you wouldnt have known you were in services.  (99828050)

Room 110 had a musty smell which was passed onto my shirts whilst i was there. Not very good when in a meeting smelling of 'damp'. A very different experience from my first one a couple of weeks ago

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
