Location was excellent. Hotel clean and staff friendly and efficient

Being woken at 5:30 - 6:00am by beer barrels being loaded - sullied the experience

Overall: Up to being woken VERY EARLY, and the unbelievable loud noise continuing for a LONG time, I would have had no hesitation in recommending this hotel. I appreciate deliveries have to take place, but not so loudly and not at such an unearthly hour. I would consider staying in this hotel again - but would have to be assured I had a room on the inner row of rooms, which may lessen the noise level.  (1400393)

The room was clean and comfortable - much nicer than the last hotel room I stayed in. I especially liked the bathroom which was very clean and well stocked with towels, soap and shampoo etc.

I don't have any criticisms.

Overall: I would like to have had a bit more information about parking options. I parked in the nearby multistorey and would have liked to have known if there was a cheaper or even free option. Some kind of map showing other parking options at reception and maybe on your website would have been helpful.  (1566347)

The room(117) was noisy and smelly due to the nearby reastraunt vent.

excellent location. great value for money. breakfast is not included in the price, but can be purchased if you want it. most hotels include breakfast in their charged which means you have to rise very early to avail of it and in most cases end up missing it. having the option of buying it is wonderful

Great location

Not very welcoming reception staff

Overall: Fabulous place to visit and great hotel location. Also they did honor our special request of a double room instead of twin.  (97177660)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
