Excellent position. Very friendly staff. Good bar meals menu, although a little restricted
Food in main restaurant over-priced and poor selection of good wholesome food, but if you like nouveau cuisine and very rich dishes served without proper vegetables then it would suit. The only place to smoke is on the terrace and at this time of year it is cold as they do not switch on the heaters under the awning.
Overall: We first stayed at this hotel in 1974 and have visited 2 or 3 times a year since, unfortunately it has changed hands many times during that period, but at the present the staff seem to stay on and so there is some continuity. The leisure pool area is excellent. They did try to charge me much more than I had agreed with Active Hotels, but this was quickly put right. (107546047)
Nice room finally moved to - first room had a hole in the wall by one of the sockets and definetly needed redeocorating. Know problem bneing changed to another room and was actually upgraded which was nice

Overall: Very enjoyable staff very helpful, except lady on breakfast duty was quite surly and hurried us even though it was only 8 am and only another 2 guests inat that time, didnt ask if everything was ok, other than her everyone else was very helpful. (107459449)
