Overall: Have been coming to Manchester for years to visit our son/stepson but this was our first stay at the Midland. We were very happy about our choice and were very comfortable in our room. The Christmas decos were lovely. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. (108109628)

Just over eight pounds for a glass of wine in one of the hotel's bars!
Overall: We booked this hotel as it was only a two minute walk to the Bridgewater Hall where we were attending a concert. Our room was ready even though we arrived four hours too early for check-in, which was great. The bedroom was superb, having booked a twin we were delighted to have a double bed each in the very spacious room. After a hard day's shopping we had the warm swimming pool to ourselves, which eased a few aches and pains! The buffet breakfast was excellent with a choice to suit everyone. The hotel was busy but the staff were very efficient. (108504078)
