Location is incredible between river and canal. Friendly and comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
Room was too hot so had to sleep with window open which lets in the sound of the river. Personally I liked the sound of the river but if you do not like it you would have to choose between being kept awake by the sound or close the window and be kept awake by the heat. Why not turn the heating down, make the room more comfortable, save money and save the planet!

This hotel although at first instant felt it is slightly remote, but once we settled in the view was breath taking, and hotel provided all the basic facilities. We were welcomed by friendly staff who made us feel comfortable straigh away.
We were all booked on the different floor, did not have telephone on the room, so had to keep climbing stairs to see each other. 2nd floor twin room needed updating and all bathrooms required a decent shower system. But the view was breath taking on the 2nd floor, this may have helped some people to overlook the condition of the decor and the urine smell in the bathroom.
Overall: We were six in the group, perhaps little noisy but it was great to be there we did lot of walking, and relaxing. (108801906)
