The room was adequate--a bit worn, but comfortable and clean. Location was good for the sights we wanted to see and we felt safe walking at night. Very close to a lot of good shopping, if that's what you like.

The staff was never very friendly, unlike other hotels we stayed in on our holiday. Very few smiles and would only help if necessary. They seemed unhappy to be working there. I paid alot of money to come on vacation and we were very excited when we checked in, but the mood lessened the happy atmosphere.

Overall: Overall, our stay was nice and worked well for us. Would be nice to see a friendlier staff if we ever get back there. There are alot of people out of work, and a lot of ones who are grateful for their jobs, and it shows! All things considered, I would stay again, but with fewer expectations.  (108568559)

Overall: Horrendous hotel- dont know how it is even classed as a hotel...more like a grotty bedsit! Disgusting facility, unhelpful staff, would never set foot in the place ever again! Wouldnt put a dog in it!  (108781434)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
