There was far more good than bad - the room was clean, spacious and very comfortable.

The one area that determines whether I would go back to a hotel or not is the toilet facilities! You failed my immediate test I am afraid although I would not completely rule you out. The toilet paper was difficult to say the least to get out of the container. It was impossible to tell how much you might need and then the flush did not work with enough power to push the paper down the exit pipe. Consequently, there was always paper in the bowl... :-(

Overall: It was a lovely hotel with pleasant, friendly staff although when we arrived, we never managed to get a drink with our sandwiches because there was no barman and no one around to ask. I am not sure why.  (108780074)

Helpful and friendly staff. Gave us a room upgrade at no extra cost. Good breakfast.

Lovely setting, interesting rooms, pleasant breakfast, pleasant staff.

Room not ready at 2pm. No soap, kettle deep brown inside, mugs likewise, main room light not working when we arrived in the dark. At breakfast good food but 4 couples who arrived later were served first and the waitress had to take our order twice as she lost it! The manager promised to ring us to disuss this but didn't.

Overall: Staff need retraining. potentially a lovely place but not currently worth the AA 3 stars, therefore over priced.  (107689229)
