Nice hotel and well positioned we thought. Nice clean rooms and all the amenities that e required were there.
A bit dissapointing to have a room facing a view of the city although we understand this is not always possible and of course would be more expensive. I'm not sure if the website provides an opportunity for a 'room with a view' - may be worth looking into as an option when booking over the internet ?

Clean rooms, good air conditioning, good bathroom facilities including power shower, efficient service from the staff - including a very quick laundry/dry cleaning service.
Overall: We've stayed at the Tonic Hotel before, and it has maintained its high standard. It's right on the harbour front and 2 minutes walk from the main restaurant area, yet we heard no street noise in our room at night. A perfect location in a brilliant city. Don't bother with taxis (or the tourist bus) - get a 3 day pass which covers the metro, buses and trams and is a really cheap and efficient way to get around. (97929471)
