Bedroom was spacious, bathroom a very nice size,at breakfast as the room became full they open the other area.The staff were very friendly.

The scramble egg at breakfast appeared to be reconstitueted (powder)

Hotel is generally in good condition, and rooms are very spacious and well fitted - particularly for France. Staff were all helpful and friendly.

Did not have any bad points!

Good location in centre of lovely old town.

When we came to settle the bill, the male receptionist presented us with a bill for 120 euros more than we had agreed to pay for the room with Active Hotels. When I showed him my booking confirmation with the correct amount he said that the hotel did not take internet bookings or use Active Hotels. We had to stand our gound to pay the agreed amount and he was extremely unpleasant and brusque. This is the first time this has happened with Active Hotels and I use them many times a year so I assume that it was the hotel at fault. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and this incident mared an otherwise pleasant stay.
