In a self catering apartment which was part of hotel. There was a lot of space.
Check in was easy and we were shown to our apartment.
The restaurant served superb food and the service was attentive and excellent.

Very friendly & helpful staff
Everytime we used the kettle/toaster the plugs fused.
Overall: Very peaceful, but end of season so not sure what it's like in the Summer. Bus stop outside if needed. Great for cliff walks. (107461962)

Overall: A very pleasant hotel with excellent staff who without exception were attentive, helpful, considerate. The food was of a high quality with the exception of breakfast which, apart from the kippers, was really rather ordinary. Cheap marmalade in little plastic pots was a particular irritant and totally out of keeping with the standard of food served for lunch and dinner. Also the breakfast portions of bacon, tomato etc were small. Presumably because the restaurant attracts a large volume of outside business, the availability of tables for residents was poor even at more than 24 + hours' notice. Half board residents, which we were not, appeared to be protected from this problem. The system, not the staff, seemed to treat Bed and Breakfast only residents as second class citizens even though we were staying for a fortnight. The bedroom was small but perfectly acceptable although there are largere suites available at extra cost which would be much better for a stay of more than a few days. The car park was adequate but parking was hampered by what appeared to be staff members' cars parked outside the designated areas which rendered manouevring unnecessarily difficult even in a small car. Overall the hotel was good value for money and the staff should be highly commended. We might stay at this hotel again but the poot quality of the breakfast is certainly a deterrent. (107793543)
