The hotel has a warm feel about it. The food was good and bedroon warm.

Don't get the boiler fixed at 5a.m. in the morning!! I phoned reception on the second night to report that my neighbour had fallen asleep with the TV on full blast. No-one answered the pohne. It could aahve been an emeregency.

Location, room, staff

The restaurant was not welcoming in the evening, 3 couples walked in and then straight out, me included. Bar meals OK. Service at breakfast was slow although the breakfast was good when it arrived. Newspaper ordered but never arrived.

The bed was excellent. The bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was excellent.

Friendly staff, clean, good parking facilities, good price. The bed was comfortable and bathroom very nice.

The main light in our room was not working and not repaired although we reported it twice. The breakfast was good but the range of sauces and preserves was poor which rather spoiled our enjoyment.

Overall: We enjoyed it but wish we had asked to change rooms because of the poor lighting.  (107849486)
