Beautiful village/ very friendly owners/ pool overlooked by ruined castle/ views over river valley/easy access to interesting ares in the area around Tours

Nice village and pretty village staff very friendly but no english spoken.

Room described as a suite which it really was not, and not worth 95 euros, no air con so had to have the french doors open and although in what seemed to be a quiet village the traffic noise was very bad and went on until 3am!and started again at 8am so had very little sleep. The Auberge has only one evening meal availiable which is cold and although this was good you would not want this for more than one evening and it was 17 euros this did include a dessert(again no choice) and coffee but is quite expensive compared with what is availiable generally in France. The swimming pool did not look well maintained and if the weather had been good enough to use it I am not sure we would have.

Overall: We would not stay here again and were very dissapointed it was poor value for money even compared with the UK. We have travelled extensively in France and we have never before had such poor value for money even taking into consideration the poor exchange rate.  (107930751)

La situation merveilleuse, calme et reposante La piscine et la terrasse privée géniales l'impression d'indépendance Le petit déjeuner sous la tonelle...

Peu d'eau chaude disponnible pour la douche du matin ! Chambre très chaude, une climatisation ne serait pas superflue sous ces latitudes ! Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus cher et un peu plus copieux et varié. Pourquoi ne pas y organiser un bon resto plutôt que la petite restauration? Ce serait un plus indéniable et le cadre s'y prète si bien!

Overall: Rapport qualité prix correct notre trop court séjour ne nous a pas permis de profiter de tout ce qu'il y a à voir dans la région et de profiter un peu plus de cette magnifique auberge.  (107432554)
