Very good hotel with lovely clean rooms with spacious ensuite shower rooms. Prime location with amazing views.

Perhaps too much information given to us about the area, we were only on a stop over to attend a conference. The beds were a little hard for me.

Overall: It was a brilliant stay. A very quite location and slept really well. The breakfast was a good size and was prepared quickly.  (107992859)

Clean & comfortable hotel. No Hen / Stag parties. Breakfast in the hotel was very good although hot food only served between 8.30 and 9.30am. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Room could have been a bit bigger. Not necessarily a 'bad' point but from this hotel it's a good 30-40 min walk into Newquay town centre. Some people may find that a bit too much. There is a bus stop by the hotel though.

Overall: If you don't have a car it does take a bit of planning if you want to get out and about. Buses are good but not very regular (1 an hour if you're lucky) - go on the net and print off a range of timetables from westerngreyhound.com and firstgroup.com as bus times are not always shown at the bus stops.  (97798495)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
