Very comfortable bed, room clean, well equipped and attractive, and the hotel was in pleasant surroundings. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent.

After requesting to move rooms, the 2nd room was spacious, clean and well stocked.
Overall cleanliness ok.
General organisation of the hotel. No chef on 1st night. No eggs for full english breakfast. The first room we were offered, the door did not close and lock properly.
Overall: Nicely situated hotel with poor organisation and management. (107824176)

Overall: Nice, quiet location. Attractive setting in old farm buildings. Room quite large and well furnished. Spacious bathroom in good working order. Good, well supplied breakfast buffet. Although the hotel seemed a bit understaffed, especially in the bar and restaurant area, the staff was friendly and did their best to be helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay. (107985552)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?
48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
