Lovely and friendly, cleanliness was good and a nice breakfast provided in the morning.
There needed to be a towel rail in the bathroom as towels did not dry properly.
Overall: Very well organised Guest House, nice friendly and helpful. Decor just needed to be updated as even though clean it was starting to look a little bit tired. (107768488)

Within easy walking distance of the city centre and main attractions.
No bad points although the shower wasn't the best however, this is hardly a major.
Overall: Very good, clean and respectable. The breakfast was very well prepared and the staff always friendly. Would recommend and will probaly go back next year. (107139189)

The Dairy Guest House was within easy reach of York City centre and all of the tourist attractions.The rooms in the guest house were kept in a clean and tidy condition and the owners we found friendly and very helpful.A good choice of breakfast offered each morning,catering also for vegeterians and vegans.We could not fault our room which was tidied by staff each day we were there.
Overall: We would definately stay at The Dairy Guest House when visiting York again and we will be recommending it to others who might be visiting York.The Dairy Guest House has remained in keeping of York's historical past and has its own character with it's many decorative Victorian features.Well recommended. excellent hotel with excellent staff and facilities
our orginal choice of room was cancelled due to a double booking situation. The hotel however delt with the situation very well and we were very satisfied with the room we were offered.
Overall: excellent stay, would recommend it to anyone and will definatly be booking again. (107276752)

Instant coffee for breakfast; water and bath gel were not refilled on 3rd night
Overall: A very pleasant stay. Would be willing to pay an extra pound a day for ground coffee rather than instant. It raises the experience many fold. (97414992)
