Apparent from answers above - HIE offers good value for money.
Hardly a bad point but one of the reception staff spoke a fast and scarcely comprehensible English. This must be a disadvantage when dealing with those who are unfamiliar with English. All that is needed is for staf whose original language is not English to learn to speak slowly and clearly.
Those of us who have to start before the full breakfast is served would appreciate the possibility of fruit as well as cereal and coffee.

The bus transfers from the airport to the hotel should have been free and although it was advertised it was free from the airport we were still asked to pay £2 each. Also the mattress was overly soft.
