very little to recommend.
Major roadworks outside made access very difficult. Payment for parking was excessive.
Overall: We would liked to have received precise instructions on how to access the centre of Avignon. The rooms were dark and had a rather bleak outlook. The staff were helpful and it was clear the environs were being upgraded for the forthcoming tourist season. Anignon is a must to see and visit. (99750045)

OUr room a little sparsely furnished
Overall: I really can't fault this hotel on the basis of our stay. Fantastic location (take the bus from Avignon International if you arrive by TGV to Avignon Centre for one Euro - it takes you to within 200m of hotel Bristol). Everything Avignon has to offer is in walking distance. Hotel reception and staff were great, very welcoming and polite. Our room was large and had a decent bathroom and comfortable beds and was spotlessley clean. Buffet breakfast was decent. Highly recommended. Avignon is beautiful too, well worth a visit. (99223588)

The location was great. The staff was terrific and helpful. It was a good deal.
Overall: It is on the tree-lined portion of a main street inside the walled portion of the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was of adequate size, quiet, clean, and everything worked properly. There is a terrific bakery located across the street. The tourist office and post office are also nearby. (3305002638)
