Wonderfully restored old Manor House. Beautiful grounds. Small, intimate hotel, superb staff.
Overall: All of the rooms we saw were beautifully restored without losing any of the charm and character of the age of the home. We were not able to eat dinner there but we had a wonderful breakfast every morning. The grounds are lovely and I agree with other reviewers that the aircraft noise from the nearby airport is inconsequential. If you want a hotel with a swimming pool, gym, and a concierge, this is not the place. But if you enjoy a beautiful setting that is quiet and genteel where you are served breakfast on china and greeted everyday by pleasant and interested hosts, then Egerton Grey is a great choice. beautiful place to stay with fabulous surroundings - top class accomodation with excellent service
Overall: This was an excellent place to stay - beautiful country house with the most spectacular views accross Porthkerry Park. A truely amazing hotel where we will certainly be returning. Our room had the most fabulous Victorian bath in the en-suite - it is worth paying the extra for a Superior Room. All the staff were extremely welcoming and the whole place was immaculately clean - a first class place to stay (97251176)
