The hotel is in a nice setting, good views over surrounding countryside. The food is of a very high standard.

Nowhere comfortable to sit in your room, the only two chairs were upright dining chairs, it is nice to be able to sit and read before going for a meal. The coffe making facility was very stingy - only one filter of coffee provided and nothing else offered. Other refreshments were not offered.

Overall: We would like to have been informed that all the facilities were not available - we were out of season. We think that more detailed information should be on the web site. We chose this place because it was classed as an hotel but is really an auberge according to the local signs. If an establishment advertises as an hotel it should offerr hotel facilities. We would only recommend this hotel as a stop-over.  (97206846)

The delightful loggia and beautifully kept grounds. The excellent swimming pool.

The bathroom window opened onto a communal balcony which was not ideal.

Overall: The hotel was charming and in a wonderful setting. The English owners were approachable and helpful. The food (we had a dinner at the hotel) was very good indeed. The breakfast croissants were particularly good. I personally enjoyed the swimming pool hugely and it was a magical experience to have an early morning swim on our last morning as the sun rose above the valley mist. Thoroughly recommended apart from siting of bathroom for this particular room. We plan to revisit next year.  (97038069)

Overall: This hotel is in a beautiful setting, the staff are extremely helpful. We ate in the resturant every night and the food was excellent.  (99518060)

calm and peaceful ambience and it was very relaxing the swimming pool is excellent the food and service friendly and efficient

Overall: In a very beautiful part of the Dordogne Easy to find There is a calm and peaceful air The pool, rooms and restaurant are all stylish The food excellent and the service impeccable Nice for three or four days to explore and return to a relaxing place It is our second visit and we and our friends would return again and again  (99703828)
