The service, the room, the atmosphere,reception,breakfast were excellent!

we had a meal in your restaurant and although the service was also excellent, the food was not good even though the menu was simple and the wine was so-so. I admit the portions were generious but quality not quantity is what counts!

Overall: We thought the room was extremely comfortable and clean and all your staff could not have been more affable. I have noted the name of your premises for anybody I know that may be coming that way because it was a very pleasant stay.  (108713083)

Staff friendly and helpful

Decor of hotel poor needs refurbishing, the gutter was hanging off the stair carpet was badly worn. No water glasses. Bedroom window would not close properly. No mattress cover on the bed. No hot water for a shower or bath. No decent outside lighting so getting in late quite hazardous as the weather was icy.

Overall: Very disappointing as I felt it was a lot of money for a B&B. Breakfast no brown toast or Meusli offered.  (107750654)

Staff very friendly, breakfast extremely clean and good

There was no heating in the room, radiator was not on and when you are getting on in years you feel the cold more. However, there was heating on in the breakfast room in the morning.

Overall: It is convenient for the places we needed to go, so we will be booking again in December. When we know a date we will contact you, it will be for two nights. Please, therefore, can we have the heater on in the room? Thank you.  (107299911)
