good sized secure car park, comfortable working area in room

On site restaurant closed at 10.00pm - limited choice on room service menu, pressure on shower was found to be poor

Booking of rooms processed in July, double booking of rooms? 2 days notice prior to booking in?? Superior double room booked, 2 single beds in my room? My sister booked 3 double rooms the same time as me and was also double booked and only told at 23:10 the night before (3rd September) booking into hotel, my other friend was also double booked and informed 2 days before booking in? Me & my friend dug our heels in and said we were not prepared to give up our rooms, my sister had to transfer to another hotel, namely, the village?? My friends room, also a superior double had a bed infested with bed bugs and was awoken during the night from being bitten, (photographic evidence and a statement from night staff was taken) bites were so servere he had to pay a visit to his doctor when he returned to London, was offered another room in the early hours that was basically a disgrace, consequently he slept on the floor of his room, the next day, because of trying to sort out another room he subsequently missed half of my sons wedding ceremony. Staff were flippant to say the least, very unsympathetic or apologetic, overall, very, very poor customer service skills to say the least. This will be taken up with your higherachy, i.e. Classic British Hotels. This could have been resolved but unfortunately was not, it was the weekend of my sons wedding and to say the stay in your hotel enhanced it is an understatement....... Your staff may have been under some pressure regarding double booking but to say they handled the situation badly is also an understatement, my family and friends had travelled from London, (many of us straight from work) after a 3,4, or 5 hour journey the last thing you need is people being unhelpful to you. It did not entirely spoil our weekend but it certainly did not add to it...... Overall a most disatifying stay in your supposedly 4 star + hotel?

location in down town; size of the room; comfortable stay, we liked it very much;

swimming pool looks better in internet as it was; Cleanliness was not so good as we used to find in SPA´s

Central location - very easy access to the shops and pubs of central Swansea. Hotel is easy to find. Plenty of car parking spaces available when we arrived (although it was a Monday). Plenty of Satellite channels on the TV.

None really , although we did not book a breakfast as the charges seemed a bit steep (£14 or so for a cooked breakfast, only a little less for continental) Local pubs offer much better value.

Overall: Good hotel, would stop over again if in Swansea.  (107336456)
