Convenient, well-appointed hotel. Good value for money. Good size family rooms
Details of the location of the hotel on many websites are badly wrong. It is several km from the position given on maps on websites listing this hotel. It is not in a rural location as suggested in some descriptions, however it was generally quiet - road noise is not a problem.
Overall: Good hotel for a short visit to Angers or nearby.

Ambience of the hotel, with its two restaurants, was excellent. It was particularly good to have a choice of restaurants, therefore menus,at different prices. The swimming pool, with the mill in the background, was very beautiful and lovely to use and relax and take an evening meal beside. The restaurant, and reception staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast area, together with the unpleasantness of the lady supposed to be running it (on the first morning she spent more time talking to the receptionist than looking after guests) was reminiscent of a War-time British Restaurant! More of an ordeal than a pleasure, which could have been helped by a warm welcome.
Overall: Most enjoyable BUT, we spent almost an hour trying to find the hotel, because it is wrongly placed on the internet map provided. This showed the hotel in a residential area of villas among trees (and a labyrinth of roads)over FOUR miles away from the actual site of the hotel. The hotel can no longer be described as in a country area, as recent road-works have produced a great deal of traffic which can be heard from the hotel grounds.
