Excellent views over the lake and close to the town

Very tired room - no drawers at all - only four hangers - door badly fixed - light over bed not working - bath taps only worked through the shower - badly in need of updating

Very nice couple running the hotel. However we were aware that the couple had only just taken on the hotel but they did their best and made us very welcome.

Hotel room was not available at given time (1.00 pm). We returned at 2.30 pm and the room was still not ready, however when we complained the receptionist found us a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the lake albeit with single beds which we were quite happy with. The original room allocated was at the back of the hotel and necessitated climbing quite a few stairs, difficult with suitcase etc.

Overall: A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting and we are sure that the couple will improve the hotel as best they can.  (107906218)

Parking and pleasant to stay by a lake a nice location.

The room was a small bedroom, the corner of the room had been partioned off to form a bathroom that was not big enough to facilitate the equipment, you had to sqeeze past the toilet to gain access to a small shower, there were no bedside tables just a chair which did not have a flat seat, so it was usless to place a glass of water on, during the night there was also a smell of drains that seemed to back up into the bathroom?

Overall: The room in question was room 22, we would not stay there again, In these modern times there is no excuse for shoddy rooms, I believe the restaraunt was good, we did not use It, the breakfasts were also poor, Also the receptin was poorley manned, we would have left after one night but every where else in the area was fully booked.  (97609904)
