Stylish.

Looking a bit shabby, especially my room. TV pretty ropey.

The bed was not a true double/kingsize - it was two singles zipped together and you could feel the join. The robes supplied had broken belt loops, they were in no way luxurious, were hard and scratchy and mismatched. The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working. There was black mould around the shower door, around the bath and at the lower end of the wall above the bath. The mould and dirt behind the taps showed signs of being there for a long time. There were no shower caps available. Cheap toilet paper was supplied. The TV was extremely small and although LCD was not good quality, there were limited channels as Sky had apparently not renewed the contact due to poor credit record. The sheets, we're not sure if they were Egyptian cotton, had holes in them. The room was noisy, despite "Triple Glazing", with sounds of very late revelry being heard clearly from the street. There was no view as windows were high up and outside one was dirty. Scuff marks on floor and walls. Female member of staff - on reception - was rude when we asked about facilities and even argued with us when we questioned things, showed no respect at all.

Overall: Extremely disappointing having paid for a delux room you expect more value for money and a better quality of facilities than a normal room.  (108216112)

When I made a complaint of our room, it was attended to quickly and efficently, and with very good grace. We got moved to a superior room, and were given a free programme of the sporting fixture we were to attend.Also when I needed food heated up in the microwave, they were happy to do so.

Having to ring the door bell every time you wanted to come into the hotel.

The location of the hotel is convenient to travellers. The price is reasonable.

The smell of smoke was still found in the non-smoking room. The computer / internet facility is suggested.
