not clean, not well maintained, we did not feel welcome, the service at breakfast was not good (very noisy, not hospitable, not interested in the well-being of the guests), in the morning and the evening had a chlorid stench, the swimming pool is interesting only for children - it has no single changing cabins, it's far away from the main bus station (about 25 minutes by foot), etc.

Overall: it's not like a three star hotel  (107793889)

Absolutely wondeful. The food was excellent.

Too far for my elderly parent to walk to town.

Overall: Marvellous  (107425018)

I have stayed in many hotels in the Channel Islands but this is without doubt one of the best value for money hotels. Clean hotel - excellent room, swimming pool. Don't miss out on the evening Carvery meal for under £20. Absolutely fantastic value for money. Highly recommended.

Be careful with the new doors - they seem to slam very quickly !!!

Overall: Overal - First class. So good I'm writing to the general manger to congratulate him on my stay - not done that for any hotel stay in a long while.  (107883864)

Service excellent. Very good facilities. Well set up for babies.

Overall: Really enjoyable. A little worried as first hotel stay with our baby (7 months), but staff could not do enough to help and the facilities were very good.  (107225377)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
