Nice rooms, clean and well run.
Expensive. Especially when charged £7 for English breakfast on top of room charge.
Small slice of bacon,a sausage, egg and beans with small piece of fried bread.
Would have preferred to have had this included in room charge as wasn't made clear by staff this was extra. Shortage of staff serving breakfasts but service good.

The accommodation was very nice, booking it through activehotels.com was much cheaper than booking with the hotel direct and therefore made it very competitive.
I was nothing I disliked, however I would say the restaurant is very nice but quite expensive for the amount of food you get and after a hard days work for my partner did not quite fill him up!
Overall: My partner and I stayed here as we both had business in the area the following day. We booked on-line and got a very competitive price compared to booking direct with the hotel. Overall the hotel was very nice, lovely gardens surrounded it. The staff were friendly, the room was very clean and there is ample parking. There was really nothing bad about our stay, however I found the restaurant a little expensive for the amount of food you got - although the food was very nice. (97849927)
