Overall: We began our motor tour of Scotland arriving at Stranraer by ferry from Belfast. It is difficult to imagine a more wonderful introduction to a country than our arrival and first evening at the Balyett Guest House. (107518462)

We found the whole place to be beautifully decorated and presented and the proprietor was both friendly, helpful and professional.
The food was first class and the whole experience was one we shall be happy to repeat.
Overall: Excellent in all respects. It is very likely that we shall be travelling to Ireland again and we shall definitely stay at this guest house again. (107728396)

B&B sign at roadside is too near the junction leading up to the house; we were almost past before we realised that this was our destination.
