good scenery.friendly pub.

shower temp., could not be adjusted,scalding hot, room smelt of damp,bed sagged in the middle ,loud traffic noise outside bedroom window,shower door did not close ,door came off in my hand,had to abandon having a shower,breakfast floating in grease.

This is an excellent hotel/pub with a very good atmosphere. The range of unknown beers in the bar was daunting at first, but provided an interesting diversion for the evening. The food was first class, as was the service.

Food was very good, excellent range of beer and the staff were knowledgeable about it. Good directions to hotel.

Room very warm. Shower dripped and had to be left on the bottom of shower cubicle to prevent this. There was a notice asking to ensure that the shower doors were closed when showering, but this was impossible because doors would not meet at the bottom.

The whole place is in need of a serious make over. Colour schemes are consistent of the old PUB format when smoking was permitted and dark drab coloured didn't show smoke staines - it need to be much brighter particularly the romm accommodation areas

Overall: servered the purpose for which we wanted within our price range  (108820211)
