Excellent facilities
Missed breakfast by 10mins on the Friday morning - not happy after paying £8.00 and seeing breakfast served to latecomers on the Saturday.

Great Staff, friendly and helpful. Great food in the restaurant, well cooked and well presented. Room clean and spacious, we requested "high up as possible" and got 5th floor which was great. Free parking which is getting rare in Cardiff hotels.
Where the hotel is situated is very noisy with the traffic noise and steelworks so not for light sleepers. Personally we found the bed rock hard and very uncomfortable. We know this is a personal preference but there really was no "give" in the mattress at all. Maybe it was new!
Overall: Good value for money but not for light sleepers or those who like a soft bed. (108200287)
Clean, bright, and comfortable. Had nice amenities in the room (coffee/tea, biscuits, shampoo, iron). Staff at desk answered all of our questions and let us know about deals (such as breakfast costing 8 GBP at checkin but 12 GBP in the morning if not purchased).
Not the most pedestrian-friendly area immediately around the hotel. Also the internet in the room (although free) can be a bit tricky to use because there is no mouse for the computer/TV just a button on the keyboard. It works, but was onerous.
Overall: We had a great one night. Very comfortable and near many sights near Mermaid Quay. Didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. :) (108943083)
Very convenient parking.Easy walk to bay area with museums, Millenium Centre, lots of restaurants. Very friendly reception staff. Clean well-equipped room. Good, full English breakfast.
