Excellent staff. Friendly. Helpful. Location of hotel excellent in the centre of Toulouse

Staff are excellent and friendly. Beside that: 1- Sound isolation poor. Hear everything during sleep. 2- Noisy restaurant just under window. 3- Kitchen odours in bathroom (maybe restaurant and hotel rooms use same exhaust and aspiration pipes?). 4- Elevator not working. Not fixed during the five day stay !!!!!

Overall: Hotel location perfect. Staff wonderful and helpful. Work has to be done to improve the sound isolation, need perhaps better windows. You can smell the kitchen odours in your bathroom. Please separate the aspiration and exhaust systems of restaurant and bathrooms. Fix the elevator.  (108913752)

location in town centre

noisy street , antique tv, shower without curtain (flooding of the bathroom inevitable), difficult to open/close bathroom window

Very convenient for centre of city. Bedroom and bed linen clean. Adequate wardrobe etc. Variety of channels on tv.

Bathroom - no shower curtain rail and curtain so it was difficult to avoid wetting the floor.

Overall: Ideal as an economical staging post in a journey. You would probably have to pay nearly twice as much for some of the surrounding hotels.  (97679835)

The staff is really nice and always willing to help you and make your saty as nice as possible. the location is perfect, there is a restaurant in the hotel (this could be made clearer when you book a room so that you know that you will be able to eat at the hotel when you arrive)

The hotel is noisy. Not because of the street (we almost don't hear any noise from outside). But the building is old, and you can hear very well what's happening in your neighbour's room. and when your neighbour is noisy, or come back at the hotel late, ot leave early in the morning, you don't sleep very well.

Overall: The stay was nice, I just regret that my neighbour was a bit noisy.  (97935715)

Housekeeping service was great, not the sterility of an expensive hotel, but I felt just like home (when someone else would make my bed and clean for me).

There was some noise outside on the street, as some people acted crazy, but my window was not directly into the street (Rue du Taur) and the hotel management did everything in their control to assure me a pleasant stay.

Overall: I had a pleasant and enjoyable stay, I understand French but I can only speak French a little bit and their staff did their best effort to speak English (though their English was limited). These people did their best effort to help me and make sure I got the service I needed (I only had minimal needs, one of them was internet). Hotel's wireless internet is only strong in a limited area (check-in desk and the room above), probably just one router, and guests need to ask for the password to use the service. TV channels are also limited, but I spent all my time at my conference, visitng Toulouse and the surroundings, so I was a happy camper!  (97456742)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
