The room was very clean. The hotel in an ideal location for what we wanted, close to the sea-front. Plenty of restaurants, bars etc.

Room was too hot. There was no milk with the tea & coffee facilities. There was a mouldy spot on the ceiling. In the evening the hotel bar was deserted, there was no ambiance considering it was a hotel. The decor was very dark.

Overall: Overall it is a lovely hotel although in order to get to the sea-front the path is very steep, so would not suit someone with limited mobility  (108049797)

Clean , Comfortable rooms. Very obliging staff who let us change one room to a higher floor.

The underground car park is a nightmare and we scratched our vehicle. Nothing bigger than a Golf is safe.

Overall: A Mercure is a pretty safe bet- good value. Staff were obliging. This hotel is in a great location and the rooms are comfortable. Granville is a great place to stay.The breakfast at €10 per head is relatively expensive (and the coffee was very average).Car park is difficult for mid-size cars upwards.We would stay here again.  (97773897)

Position

Service in restaurant was slow meal promised in 40 minutes. After 1 hour we complained and food arrived imediately but it was cold and had obviously been overlooked.

rooms good size and well laid out, bed comfortable. great shower room.

access to and from garage quite difficult, also disliked the fact that one had to go through a hospital to access the beach and promenade.

Overall: overall we had a good experience and an enjoyaboe stay, the staff were very friendly and efficient but most of all the accomodation was good clean comfortable and making the most of the hotel on a diccicult site, ie at the top of a hill where access could have been difficult.  (97516481)
