Excellent room standard with helpful, friendly staff. Very close to everywhere where we wanted to go in Dover.

Overall: We had a wonderful stay in Hubert House to help celebrate the beginning of our honeymoon. Would definitely stay again if visiting Dover.  (107844060)

Good location, with easy access to main points of interest.

Not suitable for disabled visitors although this is not stated in the pre-booking information. Access can only be gained after ringing a bell and waiting for doors to be unlocked. Title--Hotel?? no lounge or other sitting area, no reception area. Booking in and the giving of hotel rules takes place in a narrow passage way. My room description was light and airy. Room was cramped with nowhere to sit to apply make up etc. Furniture in front of sash window makes opening very difficult. Nowhere to sit comfortably or unpack suitcase. Water flow in shower hazardous.

having 7 suitcases they make wait in the street , for 1 hour and a half , I told them I needed the room for 4 nights they did not have space so i could not cancel , and next day they ask me to go out early , extra charge for credit card paymente is ridicuolus

Hubert House is welcoming and homely for the weary traveller. I liked the extra touches such as the little chocolate on the pillow and the tiny vase of real flowers on the breakfast table. The decor in the room was tasteful and co-ordinated. I was sorry I hadn't booked to stay longer.

Bedroom window was difficult to open, and the bed, though comfortable, could have done with another blanket or thicker duvet, as the night was chilly.

Overall: I was happy with my short stay, as this Guest House provided all it promised, and more. I would definitely recommend it to friends.  (107673389)
