Excellent location and ample car park, which is a must in Plymouth. One of the few hotels that accomodate for smokers. Good bar prices and adequate food. Very clean rooms and public areas. Helpful staff.
Lack of staff. On both our previous visits from 4pm onwards only the deputy manageress available for reception and to serve drinks and food in the bar. In bad weather the bedroom windows need resealing to keep out wind noise and rain.
Overall: Stayed at this hotel a number of times. It could be the best in Plymouth but is let down by small areas lacking minor maintanence and shortage of staff. Still very good value (108134425)

Lovely view. Good breakfast.
Some noise from neighbouring rooms at night
Overall: Well- situated. A warm and clean room. The hotel looks quite depressing from the outside, but once inside it was warm and welcoming (108184791)

Beautiful view from our room and restaurant. Also a big car park.
Went to bar at 10.20pm and at 10.40pm went to get e refill and the bar lady said she could not serve us as she had cashed up. It would have been nice to have been asked if we wished to have another drink. Another group in the bar were not happy about this as well. The bar was advertised as being open till. The girls were chatting in reception and not interested in us guests at all.
Overall: Bit run down and staff could do with training but a lovely view. (108276545)

Overall: 1960,s hotel trying to replicate a good 1930 style sadly now jaded and lack lustre.Bar was unwelcomeing and staff unknowledgable and stressed. (108884419)
