Breakfast excellent value. Receptionist very helpful.

En-suite very cramped and not in good condition. Shower water flooded the floor.

Overall: Adequate considering the price.  (108166953)

Overall: Excellent, friendly staff. The room is as you would expect of a Mister Bed - bed, "capsule" bathroom, TV and desk. All spotlessly clean, just very basic. Perfect for a stopover while driving through France. Nice and quiet too (surrounded by countryside) which was a bonus, but it's also just off the A10, which is very handy. Decent continental breakfast for 5 euros.  (107623782)

The hotel was in a quiet location with good parking and access. While the rooms are small they are perfect if you just want somewhere to sleep (we were out all day every day so why pay for facilities you are not going to use?). The shower was perfectly fine and VERY powerful - shut the bathroom door though to prevent a wet patch on the carpet! Curtains were fine for keeping out light - and wifey is very sensitive to that sort of thing. Staff were all very helpful and the room was cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. A second room key was provided so we had one each. Did not try the breakfasts as there was a boulangerie just up the street for fresh pastries in the mornings.

Our only problem was with check in as we arrived at about 1:00pm and the reception was unmanned. The auto-check-in machine would not accept my details although it correctly recognised my reservation. Maybe some problem with credit card authorisation perhaps? The machine tried to issue a door card, but then ate it again! Receptionist told us we should have called the telephone number for the hotel for assistance, but we went into Tours for the afternoon, returning when a receptionist was present.

Overall: Perfectly adequate - smaller than a Travel Inn type place, but fine for two. As well as the pastry shop just up the street (cross straight over the roundabout and its on the left), there is a shopping mall with big supermarket about 1/2 mile away too (not found until the last day!). Turn left at the Ford dealership and head into the industrial estate to the end of the road. Would certainly consider using Mister Bed again!  (107241420)

excellent value for money very nice people

poor communication regarding the check in. i was not informed the reception was unmanned between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm. we were left with our luggage and no access to the hotel.

Overall: it is important as previously said that the customer is informed that he/she cannot gain access between certain times. this did start the stay on the wrong foot. it was, however, quickly eased by the very helpful reception team. what was also a great help, the reception team speak better english than i do french thus making communication much easier. we had an issue and needed to locate an engineer to rectify a vibration on a motorbike and the lady very kindly wrote out the french we required to get the point across to the engineer. thank you very much for a good stay.  (99117566)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
