The walk from the room to the restaurant in the winter could be cold and wet. Poor mobile reception in the room

Hotel was excellent value for money in a beautiful setting, room was very clean and tidy, bathroom and shower excellent. Hotel food was very good and reasonably priced, the breakfast (included in the price) was also great. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Only niggle is that the pub closes from 3pm - 6:30pm so there appeared to be no facilities for Hotel guests if you arrive mid afternoon (we ended up getting some food and drink from a service station and sitting outside in the hotel garden which was actually quite nice) Bury is only 10mins away so this is only a minor concern
Overall: Very nice and relaxing, the village is very quaint, and overall was great value for money (108499976)

being kept waiting on desserts,then to be told there was no bananas left for the banana split apart from that everything was excellent

Excellent size room, very clean. Breakfast was exceptional. Location - very close to the A14
The Tv is limited to just 4 channels (minor point). The restaurant / bar area gets busy in the evening with locals although the meal was served quickly
