Bathroom and TV good.

Breakfast area poor. Food left out in open containers for several hours.

Overall: Reasonable hotel for the cost.  (97776974)

Extremely convenient for all amenities

The accommodation was generally a little cramped.

Overall: The hotel is ideally situated for a stopover for users of public transport who want to be close to restaurants and shops. The staff were pleasant and obliging, but I was glad I knew some French! The rooms were very clean, although both nights we stayed and were prebooked as a couple, we found towels, soap etc were only supplied for one person. The lift was very cramped and we had difficulty getting ourselves, a suitcase and two small backpacks in at once! The rooms were a bit small for an extended visit, and I felt could do with updating. I would probably use this hotel again for the odd night for the cleanliness and convenient location; it is difficult to miss as you come out of the station, so very handy if you have heavy bags. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, with different teas as well as coffee, and cheeses as well as jam; a variation on the basic French breakfast. Also cereals, yoghurts and fresh fruit, so no complaints there!  (3304636703)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
