Nice and clean - Nice comfy bed - Beds made every day no matter what time we left the room - Nice Staff - Nice surroundings

Not really anywhere to park, although this was made clear to us and we understood it would be a problem.

Overall: Spot on - Nice location and a very trouble free break. Seemed to have a discount from the normal rates the hotel charged which was a nice suprise. There were cheaper hotels about which we werent told about but the Cordelia was very good with nice staff which would go out of their way for you. Even got a couple of easter eggs and a easter bunny on Good Friday!! Top Notch!!  (99904395)

Overall: Our stay was very pleasant, we would like to compliment the two young ladies at the reception which were not only charming (vive la France) but also competent and helpful.  (3305175944)

It was very centrally located for shopping, but on a quiet street. It was a quiet hotel.

Rather small room with slanted ceilings so I often had to bend down to move around the room, and I'm only 5'5 tall.

Overall: I think this hotel is very good value for its location. If I were to stay in the Madeleine area again, I would certainly stay here.  (99267692)

Fanstastic location. Good value for money in this location. Quiet street.

Rooms on the small side. Decoration quite tired.

We thought the 'Cordelia 'was a very pleasant relaxed place to stay with polite, friendly staff,a very comfortable bed and clean bright bath room.In addition it was in easy walking distance of many of the cities famous sights.

The breakfast room in the basement too hot for us. We do enjoy a cup of tea first thing in the morning and at night and tea and coffee facillities in the room would have suited us more than the mini bar although to be fair we did know this was not included.

Overall: not being a frequent user of hotels, even less so in the centre of capital cities,we quickly realised that the price for a room here was very reasonable given its close proximity to many of Paris's wonderful places, many of which were in an easy walk. After a day in the city the hotel was a nice pleasant place to return to, no frills, no fuss but all WE_needed  (3304667512)

Why do we publish ratings from Booking.com?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Booking.com (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Booking.com or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
