good turn down service, bottled water particularly welcomed, as were the shortbread biscuits. lots of fresh towels and face cloths etc. liked the 'hidden' tea making service.
bed not big enough for 2 largish mature people!

staff was excellent, we had booked twin room but were given double room, they dealt with it quickly and apologized
breakfast facilities were excellent
honesty bar was a good idea
very central to town
a balcony would have been a good idea or some outside space other than the pool,
the view could have been better

Overall: This hotel is centrally located in St. Helier (with tight but free parking) and within walking distance of restaurants, pubs, etc. as well as the Jersey Museum and other attractions in St. Helier. Rooms were well furnished (a tad small for our American sensibilities) and the beds were extremely comfortable. The spa facilities were very nice with the pool and various amenities available for free a nice bonus (we had good spa treatments, although a bit pricey). The breakfast (continental) was good. We tried Bohemia, their restaurant, twice and found it inconsistent on food (some dishes were phenomenal, others had too many flavors on the plate) but very nice in atmosphere. All in all, we were very happy with the stay and will definitely stay there again. (97593226)
