Basic, but clean and excellent value for money. Hot water supply fantastic. It was a bit chilly at night but that is our fault for coming in October! Good proximity to visit the city if you have a car. Supplied maps and directions as well which was helpful.
Mattresses a bit thin, need a kettle in each room - although it was supplied immediately with a lovely tea tray.
Overall: We booked this because we had a dog with us and it was great for her. They were friendly and very helpful, although it was definitely the end of the season as some work was being done to the buildings. (107219247)

Quiet and relaxing with helpful friendly staff
The thing we found different then in NZ is there is always a jug to make a cuppa-not that we asked for one as had our own but wondered why places in Europe don't include one -

Accomodation was bright, spacious, clean and in a quiet area. The owner was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. He advised us on the sights to be seen locally and provided sports equipment for the children to use. Buffet breakfast was excellent and substantial and served outside.
Overall: Although our stay was short we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. (97068844)
