Very attractive and comfortable hotel in a lovely setting.
No dinners were being served on the night of our stay and the breakfast was average.

Nice staff. Nice furnishings. Lots of local produce. Good food & drink options
Walls were dirty. Some of the furniture was broken. Kettle did not work. Bed was very very hard. Some of the breakfast food was rancid.

Beautiful grounds and service-oriented staff.
Not really fair to say this, but my room stank of damp. The staff quicly realised it was because a previous guest had disabled to extractor fan in the bathroom, but they did fix it and did offer to move me to a bigger room. I guess it is a good point as they really responded promptly to my concern. I just think a cleaner could have spotted it before I arrived.
