Easy accessibility to room, even at midnight; clean & orderly room; very functional modern bathroom
On returning to the room on 2 out of 3 evenings, I found the smell of cigarette smoke (I am a non-smoker); it would be useful to have some good lighting available over the mirror (for e.g. make-up or close-up needs)

Good Value, accommodating , helpful and friendly staff, comfortable bed, real water glasses not plastic, real soap not some sort of gel in a bottle. I was able to stay in the lounge all morning working on my computer which was extremely convenient
No basin or bath plug. Would have been nice to have had the wherewithall to make tea but next time will bring own mug, milk and tea bags. The hotel was very difficult to find owing to the arcane numbering system of Cambridge Heath Road. Not the hotel's fault but we walked all the way to Mare Street thinking that the even numbers would be opposite their adjacent odd numbers!
