my husband proposed to me at a weddin there a few yrs ago.the staff were v good in makin sure i had the same room.the service at the weddin meal was excellent as was the food.

jus feel the price of the room was over the top ,i payed 140 and you can get double rooms in dublin 4 80euro.felt it was unfair as we had no choice been weddin guests.

Overall: lovely hotel ,lovely area ,would stay a lot more if the price was more reasonable.  (107413059)

The room was clean but hotel public areas were dirty and not cleaned to a good standard by the following day. The only good thing is that it is centrally places for the town of Arklow.

Far too noisy and hotel staff did not enforce rules such as no pyjamas in dining room and children running around in corridors after midnight.

Overall: The hotel was noisy and staff did not enforce hotel rules such as no children in the bar after 9pm. I would have liked the hotel to inform me that it was offering a special deal for the Easter weekend where children were going free and therefore it was likely to be very full of young families. I booked two rooms and have paid over 1000 euros for something I did not enjoy. I did complain at the time and on check out and was informed that if a discount could be given the manager would reimburse my credit card. I hope this will be done. Our family in the town were appalled at the amount of children running wild when they came for a drink one evening. It is certainly not a good recommendation for the hotel.  (97908418)

The Accomodation was good, clean room and reasonalbe view

The room was situated close to the bar and the evening music was so loud it kept us awake til nearly 1.00am. This was a break away from the kids so we were looking for a quiet rest not a disco.We did mention it on checking out and left it at that.

Overall: The hotel is situated in a lovely setting with a nice walk around the grounds.The leisure facility is good and friendly as all the staff. The situation of the room was the only problem that we had and would have change it if we had known.  (99898885)

Room Cleanliness, car park facilities

Overall: The 1st room we were allocated was in the old part of the hotel. It had a musty smell and immediately you knew you were in an older part of the hotel. The room itself was tiny, smelled of must and had a stain on the top bed sheet. The bathroom needed a makeover and overall we felt it wasn't value for money at  (3304286116)
