Warm, clean, convenient for theatre

wonderful situation in Stratford near theatre and opposite what was New Place. Historic building, modern and comfortable room, breakfast OK if you did not arrive near the end of specified times, own hotel car park

Room 314 above bar, so noisy till after 11.00 pm, room rather dark, but that was inevitable due to its position in a very old building, tv had only about 9 channels for Freeview, not quite enough light for elderly eyes to read in comfort, not a complete complement of foods for breakfast - we saw no cneese and cold meats as specified on the menu in our room, food on buffet table ran out towards the end of official breakfast time, so latecomers were unlucky.

Overall: We enjoyed it, largely due to the position of the hotel which was totally convenient for everything we wanted to do. Our room was comfortable and the noise usually over by the time we settled to sleep. We had convenient parking.  (108110253)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
