Excellent breakfast; decent sized room; clean and tidy but for mould in bathroom - not acceptable. Lighting a bit gloomy. TV unexplained and difficult to work out. General air of being a bit untidy.

Overall: Good value for money but with a management that really tried the atmosphere could be transformed by tidying stuff up in the external environemnt and lightening up the interior.  (108435652)

Breakfast adequate

Check in took 20 minutes as key to room was lost. No information was taken from me concerning who I was, adress, name etc. I was just, eventually, given a master key to my room on the basis of saying I was Mr T Atkin. TV didn't work properly in the bedroom. The bathroom was not clean and the shower support was broken and the soap dish hung off the wall. On Sunday night the bar and reception was closed and locked at 9.00 pm when we would have liked to stay for a drink.

Staff were friendly, breakfast very good

on arrival we found our reservation had not been booked and they only had one room left. The Hotel was looking very tired

Overall: could be a fantastic Hotel if it had some tender loving care, and staff training, staff all young and when they thought nobody was about the language was undesirable.  (108346580)
