The hotel had a wonderful feeling about it, staff were very welcoming and friendl.
Overall: The hotel was set in peaceful surroundings, the accomodation was maintained to a very high standard. The food was first class and plenty of it. You felt very welcomed and the hotel and a lovely feeling about it. I would definately go back again and highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it and relax and to be guaranteed wonderful hospitality. (99579299)

beautifully situated hotel, very friendly and efficient staff, cosy and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food
did not particularly like the decor in the bedroom, there was no hairdryer - probably been nicked but a check should have been made beforehand
Overall: enjoyed pracically everything about this hotel, especially the cosy sitting rooms with newspapers available and the food was just excellent - the staff are all friendly and efficient - thought the bedroom could do with a makeover though but overall, very good value for money - would love to return in the spring or summer (99847403)

The rooms are comfortable and unpretentious. The views are magnificent. It has a real country house feel
