The hotel has a fantastic position overlooking the the sea. It is kept to a high standard and is very welcoming. The breakfast selection is excellent and is cooked to order to a very high standard indeed.
I marked the cleanliness down because I was expected to use the same bath towel for two days!!! When I arrived I proceeded to have a shower after my night out I had another shower, in the morning I placed the towel on the floor as it was dirty before I lefted my room. When I returned my room had been cleaned to a high standard however they had just picked the same dirty towel off the floor and hung it back on the door. I could not bring this to the attention of the of owners at this time as it was in the early hours of the morning as I had just attented a wedding that day, so I was expected to use the same towel I had use twice previously which is totally disgusting in my eyes.
Overall: Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the Windsor Carlton the main dampner for me however was the towel situation this should have never have happended. You should be given the choice like the large hotels if you would like to hold onto your towel for another day, but that should be YOUR choice at home I will only use a towel once and wash it so why would I go to a hotel and pay for the privaledge of keeping a dirty towel for two whole days.
